Thought it was about time I introduced myself! My names Michelle and I currently live in Warrington with my boyfriend Rob, our dogs Mooch and Chilli and our foster Gringo.
We got Mooch in August 2007 aged 7 months from the Warrington RSPCA branch. When we first saw her she was cowering at the back of her kennel so we got her out and said hello to this beautiful shy girl -
Naturally we fell in love with her so were home checked and brought her home a few weeks later. We believe she had first gone into the RSPCA as a puppy and then had gone to a home where she had "gotten too big" so was brought back. We could never imagine giving up this gorgeous mucky girl -
I had been wanting to get Mooch a friend for ages and finally in October last year my nagging paid off when I showed Rob little Whippet/possibly Staff cross Chilli who I had found on dogpages she was around one years old -
She was in the Thameside and Glossop branch of the RSPCA she had lived with a couple who split up so she went to live with one of the couples sister who had I think three children and couldn't cope with her as well so handed her in. We arranged to go visit with Mooch and they got on great and we were able to bring her home the following weekend -
The girls are now best friends who love to cuddle up together -
Then in March this year we heard about Gringo who was coming over from Spain with PAWS PATAS the only trouble was he didn't have a home to go to, so we stepped in at the final hour to offer him a foster place with us -
He is a very sweet boy, only four years old and has spent three of those years being overlooked for a home in kennels
