Shadow the GSD needs help getting up, but I cant use my hands due to arthritis, would need to use my arms, like you do carrier bags, do you do anything I could use please? On this site, the hoistabout or back harness is the type of thing I mean www.dogmobility.com/harness.html

Somewhere here, I have something very similar to that, which was made ages ago for a special order, but never paid for/despatched. IF I can find it, I'll pop it into the auction to clear it, Alicia.

Not sure if it will be big enough for your GSD, as was used on my collie. Holly had a hard time when her back end used to give way, plus the fact she only had 3 legs meant that it was even harder. She had a lovely support harness donated to her that was awsome and so very handy. Hope its ok to put the link up but if you have a brows you'll find some photos of her wearing it. it's www.doglostholly.blogspot.com. Holly has sadly now passed over. If you think it will help and you've not found one yet I'll happily measure it up for you. I could use to carry her in and out of the car, up and down stairs and support her out on walks.
