Coats and Raincoats that are made to order are priced according to size, style and materials used. This list is therefore only a guide, and represents our basic range of fleece and/or waterproof fabrics. For sizes not listed, or different fabrics/styles, please ask for a quote. Medium fit fleece coats or basic, nylon raincoats with either a sherpa fleece or cotton lining, and in either standard style or sighthound style - INCLUDING p & p...14" - £8.00 15" - £8.50 16" - £9.00 17" - £9.50 18" - £10.00 19" - £10.50 20" - £11.00 21" - £11.50 22" - £12.00 23" - £12.50 24" - £13.00 25" - £13.50 26" - £14.00 27" - £14.50 28" - £15.00 29" - £15.50 30" - £16.00 31" - £16.50 32" - £17.00 For 'deep fit', please add 50p For 'closed front' & 'crew collared' coats, please add £2.00 For Chillcheaters & Stormcheaters, with the high collars, please add £3.00 For 'Kennel Coats' with the wide, velcro fastened belts, please add £3.00 For bonded, 'Faux Sheepskin' fabric, please add £1 under 20" coats; £1.50p for 21" - 26"; and £2.00 for 27" upwards. For decorative trims or reflective silver flashings, please add £1 under 20" coats; £1.50p for 21" - 26"; and £2.00 for 27" upwards. Coats and raincoats are sized according to the length from the base of a dog's neck to the base of its tail, and measured along the spine. This measurement does not take into account the high collars on some styles, so when measuring, do not add that - i.e. my Scampi needs a 22" coat, but were I to make one for him with a 4" collar, it would measure 26" from the top of the collar to his tail - but his coat would still be a 22" long one for a good fit.
Currently availabe RAINCOAT fabric colours: Red; burgundy; forest green; navy; royal blue; bilberry check; greyish-beige; black; fluorescent yellow; day-glo orange.
Currently availabe COAT fabric: Please give colour choices in thread, so that I can check availabilty, thanks. Hope this helps?

Do you mean in waterproof fabrics, fleece, ponyskin animal prints or what, please? ;D Really, it would be much easier if those wanting something give a colour, and I can see if what they want is available. Raincoat wise, at present we have bilberry check, royal blue, navy, forest green, black, red, burgundy, grey, fluorescent orange, and fluorescent yellow on rolls, and odd pieces of a variety of other colours, some enough to make large raincoats, some only small. Fleece is in short supply on rolls - only green, navy and burgundy, I think, but we do have a number of pieces in a variety of colours, and again, some will only make small coats, but a few larger ones.

Hi Al, Yaygo measures 16" and a half just to be darn awkward !!!, I would like a Stormcheater in Burgandy or Black for him, would you advise me to get the 16" or the 17" for him, he does have quite a long slim neck if that is any help to you : Oh nearly forgot the sighthound style would be best for him Love and Light Viv and the Dog's. x

A 17" - or possibly even an 18" one if he's growing, Viv.

If you don't have any cluttering up your space and therefore throwing them in the auction soon, I'd like to order a sighthound raincoat, 22" with sherpa fleece lining in either of the following colours (if you have such a raincoat lying about or if you have just that material 'open'/easy to reach anyway!): royal blue, navy, forest green, black or grey.
(it's for a lovely grey/white whippet)
I suppose that would be £12?

Jutta, there is a 23" one about to go into the auction, but not a 22", sorry. Not sure what is left down at the workshop. Mostly little, standard coats left to clear, I think.

I'm bidding on 23", but 22" would be better. Do you think you might be able to make one up soonish? I'll be back on here tomorrow to see if I should send the cheque for £12 quickly

What measurements would you need hun so I can let her know I'll need to know the length from the base of the neck to top of tail, chest circumference at the deepest point, and the circumference around the base of the neck, please. Neck length may also be required, depending upon breed. Even in a raincoat, dogs tend to shake off rain though, so your friend may need to carry a towel with her to wipe off excess rain before the dog shakes.

Sorry, Al. Off sick at the moment and brain dead Yes, definitely 30 inches. I also think I paid for a 32 inch one, but who knows? So how much am I down? Just £4? As if you didn't have enough hassles, eh, Al?

S'okay, I've worked out where I'm going wrong. I didn't add the £3 for the wide velcro whatsits. So I owe you another £5 but I'll send more as usual for fees Does it make any difference if I say it's a gift? Can you claim back money cos I'm a tax-payer?

Thanks, Wendy. If you send as a 'gift' they don't charge a fee, and as what you send for is a gift for a rescued hound...
