Trish, the escape proof harnesses are a style similar to a trail harness but with and extra strap that fits around the dog's waist and comes into play only when it attempts to get the harness off over its head. To make one up, I would need the dog's individual measurements - chest, base of neck, waist and also the distance from the back of the neck to the point about the waist. This style of harness currently doesn't allow for a padded chest version - but I have yet to encounter a dog with a waistline that can escape from one!

For my Greyhound I prefer the Trail harness, it gives more room between the front legs and doesn't rub because the straps arn't close enough to any leg to rub.

Tricia, with a matching, standard length lead, this will be £15.49p. However, I am awaiting a delivery of the comfort webbing and in 'pretty' colours. At the moment I only have the dark ones. The order should arrive next Tuesday, though, if that helps? Wht colour would you prefer, please?

The cushion webbing is available in black/red; navy/red and forest green/red at the moment, but this morning I managed to arrange to have som made in purple/green stripes. I am not sure how long it will take to come through, though. It has taken me ages to find somewhere where we can obtain it in those colours.

Is it just a lead you want in the cushion webbing, Tricia? I ask because I have tracked down someone in another TRPD group who has a little bit of that purple/green cushion webbing available.

What was it you wanted, Julia? I can probably get them made up for you and as long as we have the webbing needed.

I'll check with the groups making harnesses and pass on the info to them. Fairly sure there should be those colours available, though.

Do you know when trail harnesses will be back in the buy it now stickys? My gypsy's 'step in' doesn't fit her anymore and it broke at the clip (my fault for buying a cheapo ebay lol). She's having to walk on a collar which she and I both hate.

Some harnesses were delivered this evening, thanks to a passing member. It will be up to the teams shop managers now to get organised to make these available.
