Hi Al
I was wondering if there are any 1.5"-ish decorative collars that would suit our Seth? I'm ideally after a martingale style (ie fabric/webbing loop instead of chain loop in a half check style). Is this possible? If so, what colours/trims are available? If not can anyone suggest anyone else?
Thanks ever so much,
Kathy

Kathy these are in the Flash and Grab sale at the moment, but I dont know if they are Maringales or no.t If they are not suitable what kind of colours would you like and what length collar as I am sure they are the questions Al would ask A 1" wide x 20" long collar in navy webbing with a navy, black and silver metalllic decorative design, and a matching, standard length lead. F & G Price: £10.00p. A 1" wide x 20" long collar in chocolate webbing with a red, black and gold metalllic decorative design, and with a matching, standard length lead. F & G Price: £10.00p.

Thanks ever so much!
Erm size wise, I haven't measured him up yet, but we're looking at prolly 15-17" if I remember Rooby-Doo's measurements right.
Green/khaki/gold or black based styles would suit him I think - he's got a crappy blue and black half check at the moment from the petshop and it looks a bit cack on him (but then it IS a cack collar). ;D
Do you know what size the greyhound collars go up to (I'm assuming they're martingales)?
Thanks!

Kathy, I daresay there will be some martingale collars to make for my challenge with Alibullie, so will bear your colour preferences in mind and acquire a load of suitable fittings! ;D Alibullie will need all the help she can get, believe me! The 'BIG Make Session' is due this Saturday, with Ali then having all of Sunday to try and sell everything made. She may well want to add you to her list for her 'cunning plan'.

Have a look on the Refuge board under the title 'We Can't Give It Away', Kathy.

I'm back Right - I could use the knowledge of a staff member or anyone who has one of the decorated collars. 1. Are the greyhound collars martingales, and if so do they adjust? We had a 1.5" one from another place for our Ruby that was a greyhound one and because it was adjustable it fit her really well (for some reason these styles do Boxers well, maybe because they have similar head/neck issues). Unfortunately I can't find any of Anna's collars that we already have, or I'd have tried one on him LOL. 2. Can you buy the "normal" dog collars (the decorated ones) alone, or do you have to buy them as a set with the lead? I use a training lead for these two so only really need a collar. 3. Can you still get the rainbow "normal" collars, and if so, how much are they now? 4. Is Paypal an option? Sorry for all the questions. Take care Kathy

Not all of the greyhound collars are martigale ones, but those that are will say so, and I suspect Alibulie will be offering various ones on Sunday in the challenge. I'll also make sure she can offer some individual decorative collars too - possible even some rainbow striped, normal collars, too, which will be about £3 each. Although we don't have a paypal account, you can pay by Nochex if you have a credit or debit card and you don't need a Nochex account to do that.

Oh God Al, I'm really sorry, I've got another question. The greyhound collars that aren't martingales - are they adjustable in size like the normal collars and if so, roughly what size do they go up to? I am SO sorry for pestering like this. Ideally I'd like a wide collar you see cos of his neck, doesn't matter if it's not a martingale (but if I can't get one, I'll get him a nice rainbow stripe normal one). Again, I'm so sorry.

The greyhound collars adjust up to about 18", and I am hoping to get a load made up during the marathon session, both ordinary and martingale ones. Look for the 'Battle of the Ali-ens Sale list on Sunday, although I'll probably show progress during Saturday, but it won't open until just gone midnight on Sunday. All supporters of Alibullie and her marathon sales session will be welcome there then!

Damnit damnit damnit. I've measured him and he's about 17", but would need 18". So that rules out the thicker collars, poo poo poo. Thanks anyway for all your help.
