HI, I would like about 10 short leads about 12-18inches long, no handle necessary. Any colour will do, with a trigger hook, and two thicknesses suitable for large and small dogs.

Penny, when you say two thicknesses, do you mean widths of webbing, as in, perhaps, 1" wide for the large dogs and 3/4" for smaller ones or double the actual thickness of the webbing itself? The comfort webbing is already quite thick, but we do make short, double thickness, very strong leads in a 1" width for tall dogs/close control, and suitable for breeds such as GSDs, Rotties, wolfhounds etc.
Also, when you say no handles are necessary, I am a little confused, though. Are you actually after something similar to a 'catch strap', which is a short webbing strap that can be attached to a horse's headcollar and left to dangle to make catchng hold of it easier in the event of it being difficult to catch when out at grass?

Yes that is exactly what I mean! Two widths of webbing a narrow one for small dogs and a wider one for the bigger dogs.

What about the handle aspect? Do you mean leads or catch straps, please?

Penny: Ah! Right, catch straps! If that is what you want, I will see what available from the TRPD Riders Group. They had some made up for foals and young horses not long ago. I think they were £3 each for the 1" ones and £2.75p for the 3/4" ones including p & p and they were simply 1' - 1' 3" long lengths of comfort webbing with a trigger hook on. Ali & Carolyn - I still need to stock check the last of the available stock and those are amongst that, so please keep an eye on the stockroom, where I'll pop them when I can keep my eyes open for long enough! (1 hour's sleep at most last night/this morning, then phone call to say son's car had broken down!)

Penny, the Rider's group have a multi-pack of 10 assorted width/colour comfort webbing 'Catch Straps' for £25 the pack. Although intended for horse and pony foals and yearlings, they should be ideal for you, and from what you say. There are 5 of each size in the pack. Payment would be in the normal way, as per any of the sales threads, if you want these.

Okay, Penny, I'll get those reserved for you pending payment. The Rider's group is a small, offline (live/face-to-face) group, some of whose members also sew and make things for our group when they can. They don't have a forum, though. If you are looking for a horse rescue related forum, why not take a look at: Trallwm Farm Animal Sanctuary Forum.
