I've just paid out £338 for another tooth snag incurred while running my Greyhound and Whippy were running around like fools. It's going to happen again and again and so I have decided that the two most vulnerable idiots are never going out again without body armour of some sort. So I was wondering if you made chainmail tunics? Nah, I'm only joking but how about something like the t shirts made by - sorry about this - Equafleece?

Do you have one that I could borrow for long enough to get a pattern from, please, Wendy? If there is a particular area where the dogs are snagging one another, perhaps that are could have something stitched on that would help to protect them? Not necessary chain mail, but perhaps a strong, shiny nylon that they couldn't easily puncture?

Brock is also prone to this, so winter time he wears a snood with a coat that has a half moon on the neck and it seems, so far, to have protected him. However I have no ideas for summer so anything you can come up with for then would be great!!

Al, I only have one and have to use it constantly while Bayleaf is in stitches. But I have another on order and I'll send that to you for inspiration Thanks The winter isn't a problem because they wear coats - TRPD ones, of course - but it was so mild on Sunday that most of them were naked and that's when the trouble starts. And if it's not teeth it's brambles It's the area over the ribs that seem to be where the skin is thinnest and where the worst injuries occur.

Wendy, if you can get a newspaper pattern off the one you have, that would be enough for me to work from - or perhaps even meet me at the cafe at Jct 33 M4 with it and I'll bring a pen and paper and get the pattern while you wait/drink a coffee!

How stupid am I!. I bought another one from Equafleece - and it cost £19 ....for a t shirt! Anyway I put it on Bayleaf today and then put a kennel coat on top. By the time I got home from work he had snuck his pointy nose under the kennel coat, eaten the Equafleece and had given his wound a good licking That pesky dog! I'll send that one to you, Al

Is it repairable, Wendy? (Bad boy, Bayleaf!)

Yes, it's probably reparable by a clever person, Al - hint, hint. His stitiches came out tonight and so I'll wash the t shirt and sent it on to you
What would I do without you?
Thanks
Wendy
