This is Jo, my retired Thoroughbred ex racer. I've owned him for the last 10 years. He was 23 years old when this photo was taken. He was retired 2 years earlier due to a snapped ligament in his stifle. He is very happy to live a retired life and will be with me for the rest of his days.

This is Cariad, and she is Welsh x Thoroughbred, and I've owned her for the last 3 years. She was 15 years old when this photograph was taken. We do some local shows together - mostly dressage, but also a bit of jumping and showing. This is us doing a Prelim dressage class at a local riding club last year.

Not sure a photo with 2 together is allowed but said I'd put this up anyway as it is a great example of 'Mother Nature' and 'natural instinct' This is Nanny May & Rocky Nanny May is a 'twenty-something' years old mare who is 12h2 (not sure of breed, could be connemara ? ) who completely offered up her services to be 'nanny' to Rocky whose mammy, Polly, died before he reached 2 days old. It was just the shining glimmer of light & hope I needed during the days of sadness at her passing, poor girl just did not have the strength to keep fighting for her life and the fears of not doing right by the son she entrusted to this world before bidding us farewell Anyway apologies if a photo of 2 together should not be entered and feel free to move it to the photo gallery or somewhere else if needs be Sheena
