Will see if anything can be arranged while work is being done, Carmel. Right now, though, I am off for a relaxing bath... It has been a hectic day. (I wonder if I could get away with not logging in until Friday? )

Thank you, Carol. I was down at the workshop this morning and talking to James whilst cutting some raincoat pieces out that I'd mis-cut, and he knows somewhere where masonery paint can be purchased in bulk, and at better prices than locally. I think he can hardly wait to get stuck in with the brushes and rollers. Suspect that he's hoping a working party can be organised soon. It was pouring with rain - and still is - but despite that, James said he was quite happy there just sitting watching all the birds, and is really enjoying the place, which is what it is all about. Like me, he can visualise what it will be like in a few years when the trees have grown more and the other plants become more established. He was also saying that his mother has some plants to donate for the garden next week, so we'll need to get clearing and digging another border for those.

I was wishing I was nearer and could help out until I read the bit about the rain! It's been hot with sunny spells up here near London, and a nice "breeze" (for which, read "wind"!) blowing so I'll stay here thanks!

Al, This has taken us sometime to work out how to upload these pictures onto here! Finally we think we may have managed it. So pictures of the preparation work you have done for the sew in should be attached, fingersX.
We can count them up Monday before you commence. I will gladly verify the completed items for you on Saturday 10th July 2010 and publish the result that evening for all to see...

Don't you mean count on Thursday before I commence? Think Thursday would be best, as I am going to have to use some of those cut items before the event now, as an urgent order's come in from Wiccaweys, so will need to re-cut a lot! Oh, and don't forget Sue and Dave are going to render the workshop out of use from Thursday until they've finished building the racks and shelves for the fabrics and webs! This is going to be a very hectic week!

I'll be bringing up the baskets of cut out items from the workshop to my home tomorrow, ready for the 'Sew-In' on Friday. While I am busy doing that, some of the Llys Trerobert Project Group's maintenance volunteers are going to make a start making shelving units and racks for the materials and webbings there.
On Saturday morning, James will do the official count of items. I'll then post the results later on Saturday.

Joking aside Al, hope all goes swimmingly and you make lots more than the target of 50 items. And I hope you're planning a lie-in on Saturday morning!!!

Thanks, Carmel. Joking aside, James and I went down to see the bank yesterday, and to open a separate account for the main, Llys Trerobert Project, which will be to look after the land and facilities, and improving those for all of the various TRPD groups and individual members destined to share and utilise them. I'll be creating a separate thread about all that, but probably not until the weekend. Really busy day today, then the Sew-In tomorrow and the count on Saturday. Can't see much chance of a lie-in!

Thanks, Bernie. I shall be off for a nice relaxing bath shortly, an early night, and hopeful of waking fighting fit and raring to go, instead of my usual stumble out of the sack and grab for a pair of sticks to get myself to the bathroom, followed by an hour or so of stretching, pill-popping and tea before I'm mobile enough to do owt! Oh, well, we can always live in hope! ;D Will be taking my lunch break down at LT, so that I can see how the work is going racking that out. Don't anticipate the chance to be online much, unless during my tea breaks!
