Hi
One of the dogs that I am rescuing came home with us a couple of days ago and she really pulls on the lead - any advice on what collar/harness should help combat this please? I know everything is new and exciting for her and as we are in the countryside there are fantastic smells!! but I can't have her pulling me over which she nearly did yesterday and she's only the size of a small working collie!!

A harness can certainly help with pulling, and you could also use a Figure 8 headcollar in conjunction with a normal collar and lead or harness and lead to help to guide and educate her.

Hope it was 'blingy' enough, with the pink/chocolate roses and gold metallic background? I meant to take a photo before posting. Forgot, as ususal.

will take a photo and post . I'd buy one for Gracie, but as it would end up smeared in fox poo, there doesn't seem a lot of point! Gracie has 3 collars, 1 on,1 in the drawer and one in the wash

Al, I got a red martingale collar from you last week and it's absolutely stunning!!!! Don't suppose you've got any of the trim left have you? If so I'd love a half check for the Norty Norris and matching lead!!! And if you've got loads I'll have another collar for Sidney too!!!

Jacky, if you mean the red and cream Celtic design one, I am afraid that one is a total one-off. I have about 8" remaining of that trim. It was an odd piece I discovered amongst the old craft group's bits and pieces, sorry. I do have some other new trims that will be starting to apper soon, and once I'm caught up with the orders and over the worst of ths darned chest infection, which has been knocking me for six. (Doc's put me on anti-biotics and steriods today, so fingers crossed... just a pit I got it the wrong side of the BH. Couldn't even get to any of the events on then. )

Nevermind thanks anyway Al. I absolutely love it and it looks so beautiful on the dark haired dogs. If you come across a nice bright trim that will suit a jet black dog I'd like a small half check collar and lead set. No rush though. Hope you feel better soon. xxxx

What size is the black dog's neck, please, Jacky? I have several lots/boxes/bags of trims here to go through, many are just long enough for a collar or two, but they need using up. I'm running a bit behind at the moment, but the anti-biotics and steroids are starting to kick in, so not as wobbley now and hoping to be back to a normal level of decreptitude soon.

Sorry forgot that bit!! If you have chains for a 3/4 half check that would be perfect, neck size around 13 inchs for a very skinny lurcher!!! If not then a 1 inch will be fine, if possible could I have matching lead too please. Don't want much really do I?? Red would be fabulous but if not something nice and bright will do.

Hi
Can I order a figure of eight collar and I will pay for the 21' foot lead and that together - The widest thickness and in purple if possible please? She is about border collie size so do you think this would fit her ok?
Thank you.

Usually, a border collie would take a 5/8" wide Fig. 8 headcollar, but if large, could get away with a 3/4" one. I am not sure if I have any purple in the 3/4" web, but will check tomorrow. There is no purple in 5/8" wide, though. Do you want one with a lead combination, or just the headcollar, please?

Hi Al Sorry to hear you have been poorly; fingers crossed you are over the worst. I am after some harnesses please. A couple of 16" and 3 18" would be great. Any colour - whatever you have made up or want to get rid of! Thank you.

Thanks, Karen, I am slowly getting there, but a few severe back spasms this last week have me feeling like I am nursing several broken ribs. I'm running a bit behind as a result with orders and some of the posting out, but know that the only harnesses made up are listed, so will need to make some as soon as possible. I have some things made up that need photographing and listing, which I'll do ASAP, and get more made up as and when possible. My sincere apologies to anyone affected by the delays.

Ouch! When you're ready and able is fine with me. I'll keep checking the auction pages and that way you won't even have to remember to remind me they are listed!
