Thinking of you today Al and hoping your family finds some comfort in the fact that so many others cared for you.

Although I was unable to attend, Al and her family have very much in my thoughts today.

Al's funeral - a humanist one - was very moving. So many people came to pay their tributes to a lovely person. There was standing room only in the chapel when we got in. It was a simple ceremony with an account of Al's life and her great love for animals especially horses. It was particularly moving when the congregation sang Calon Lan (A Pure Heart). If you'd like to hear this song, it's here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=akmjOZ6-3Xg&feature=relatedI had met up with Jutta and Jazz. It was very sad to say goodbye to a dear friend who was taken too soon. Sleep well, Al. We will miss you so much.

How did I miss you then ? Why didnt you go on to the Robertson pub ? I didnt stay long as I felt it was a family thing. I spoke at length to Dylan and his uncle about TRPD. They would welcome all admins support in unravelling passwords and the future of TRPD projects. Right now they are shell shocked but Dylan says he has to face it at some point so if any of the admins can assist the family by making contact they would be grateful. He hasnt managed to do anything on her PC at the moment. Stuff that was bought in on sale or return they feel should go back but they dont know what to do with everything else although they are keen that the sanctuaries should benefit if that is possible. The one thing Al was to everybody was a great friend and a brilliant story teller so her family shared a few smiles at the things she had told me and Im sure every one of us will have been lucky enough to have been left our own tales of Al. Dylan is going to phone me to start sorting stuff but Im sure there are people on here who were hands on in the whole TPRD phenomena who could advise, help and sort far better than me. Please come forward so each piece of the jigsaw gets sorted for them. If its any comfort to anybody Al was planning to ride Merlin so was down the field when her headache started. By the time the ambulance arrived she was unconcious so she went in the way she probably would have approved of. Lets hope we are all as lucky to go doing something we love.

Not surprising we missed each other in that crowd. No, we didn't go to the pub. What I would have liked was to go to Al's workshop and bird garden. But that didn't seem appropriate. So I went home and took my dogs for a long walk along the river with many of Al's leads round my neck and remembered her. I hope the computer issue can be sorted

At the time of the funeral I took myself and my dogs off and followed the route we took a couple of weeks ago when I'd walked our annual Rainbow Bridge walk, which I thought was quite fitting to do. It was a lovely walk and a poignant reminder of all those who go to the bridge far too soon sometimes.

I am glad the funeral went well and that many people were able to attend. I was thinking of everyone yesterday. They would welcome all admins support in unravelling passwords and the future of TRPD projects. Before Al went into hospital for the cancer she gave me the password for her account on here, which is the admin account. I have not tried to log in with it yet, as the time does not seem right to do so but we will need it to maintain the board. I don't know the details of any other accounts. I think when the time is right we should start another thread somewhere or a new section of the board for this.

could you speak to Dylan or invite him on the board so it helps everybody move forward. Then all those that matter, ie all those who have worked hard for TRPD can join in and decide the future. Im just a recipitent of all the hard work you do because I run Trallwm farm Sanctuary. For that reason I understand the importance of what you all do but I also get the importance for Dylan to be included. It was a very moving day yesterday (despite the embarrassment of being the only one not in black - I don't think Al would have minded, though), after saying good-bye to 'goingtothedogs', Jazz and I spent hours talking about Al and how much she'd helped both of us at some time or another - and how many leads and dog coats I've had for 9 or 10 years and still use!!! - and I hope very much I can meet up with 'goingtothedogs' sometime in the not too far away future to go to Al's place.
I'm not aware of anybody else knowing any password/having any passwords. I certainly never knew any, I'm afraid.
I'd be happy to go over sometime and buy stuff that I think I can make use of (for rescue or neighbours' dogs), but I'm not in a position to take over any of the making or sending out part of TRPD! If the quiz masters need help, I'd be happy to help out though (weekdays only, not sunday nights)!

This site was the only one that i felt that i was helping in a small way a lot of rescues rather than just one rescue by sending a lump sum of money through Al making so many brilliant things for the animals ..don't know how she did it with the arthritis etc ..i think Al must have been loved by a lot of people ....well deserved too

I'm miles away so not sure what help I can be but please do shout out and let me know. I'm only online during 'working' hours and unfortunately don't have access to any passwords etc but I'm more than happy to dig in and help out in anyway I can.
Wish I could have joined you in saying goodbye, I took my lad out for a hack and thought of Al. Remembered all the chats we had about our 'bloody' horses and while slating them really we were proud as punch and grateful to have them in our lives. I wish I was nearer to help out with the horses and do more for the family.
