Some of you may already know that members of the Cavalier Talk Forum (CT) have set up a fund to assist in the research taking place into the condition syringomyelia (SM) that is causing such concerns for the Cavalier King Charles breed. This initiative is known as Rupert’s Fund (RF), in memory of Rupert, the beloved Cavalier of one of CT’s long-standing members, and is designed to assist both breeders and pet owners in getting their dogs MRI scanned – the only way to diagnose the disease with certainty and thus make meaningful decisions about breeding. For more information, look at www.rupertsfund.com/Ruperts_Fund.html At the moment, RF is running an auction of goods (many of them Cavalier – related) which I thought you might all like to know about. The deadline for this auction is on Monday 28th March at 10 pm GMT.So please do come along to the CT Forum and have a look at all the items at www.cavaliertalk.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?74-***Rupert-s-Fund-BIG-fundraising-AUCTION!*** You will need to register as a member of the Forum if you would like to make a bid, and that might take a day or two, so don’t leave it till the last minute. Looking forward to seeing you there – especially all the Cavvie crazies on this forum!

Have just heard that this auction raised.......£580, which is an excellent result and will pay for almost 3 further MRI scans for Cavaliers. I'd like to thank all of you who took an interest and especially those who participated in the auction and helped raise this brilliant amount.
