It has been suggested, once the samples have been stitched and I have framed them and taken the necessary photographs, that we have auction them on the forum here to raise some money for the TRPD or perhaps for individual charities. What does anyone think to this idea? It certainly sounds excellent to me Does anyone have any other ideas or thoughts? Jane x

It sounds great, Jane. The art group were talking about doing something similar with paintings, too, so perhaps some sort of combined Arts & Crafts Auction Event could be organised - once everyone's had a chance to recover from Christmas, that is! Al

This is the first of the Spoilt Dog series. Although Alison has stitched this one up already (well done!) this is a mock-up from the design programme I use. I will post photos of Alison's sample when I have had it framed. The finished version has a small bone button stithced to the left of the 'l' for lives. What does everyone think? Jane x

Have you tried framing one yourself? - it's not that difficult, I've done mine and they haven't come out too bad. ;D

Could I buy the pattern for the very spoilt shih tzu cross stitch by any chance? My mum is coming over for a few weeks and I think she might enjoy having a go at that one. (Our Lily is really my mum's special dog as it was my mum that rescued her when we were on holiday. My mum is an .)

Here's a sneak peek at the completed samples for "Spoilt Labrador" and "Spoilt Spaniel." They have been framed and the stitchers should feel rightly proud of themselves The pictures will be gracing the front of the chart packs from now on. As I understand it, Marion will be putting these these two framed samples up for auction soon, so watch out for it. If you have a spaniel or a labrador, how can you not have a bid?! My mum framed the shih-tsu pic she made and gave it to me just before she went back to Spain last week. Nice of her! I will take a pic and put it up for you to see. I may have to reframe it though now I have seen those ones above!! (you'll see what I mean!)
Have any more been made yet? I would be willing to have a go at another if you like Jane? I would also bid on one, especially if I saw it framed so beautifully! (Unfortunately haven't been looking at the auctions recently so may have missed the ones above.)

That looks super, Alison.
I'm not sure how often Jane gets here now, as she must have a young baby around and taking up a lot of her time. You could try emailing her.
