I had a phone call from Sue from CLAWS over the weekend who has been thrilled with the catbeds that have been sent to her, some were ones I bought from the Flash and Grab and one or two were donated prizes from the quiz! She was really pleased and has put them to great use with some oldies (old cats) she has in, one being 18.5 years old www.claws.org.uk/

I am humbled and honoured by the wonderfully large parcel received this morning. Donated items from Brackenmums and 6 fabulous coats from Macabbie. I cannot put into words how grateful we all are. Nearly everyday something comes through the post and I cry, because a thoughtful person has given something for the dogs who are homeless and whom we try our best for.
Bless you all,
Jane x

You are welcome, Jane, and there will be more to come but I need you to let me know what sized coats you need for the most needy dogs that still don't have one. I think there should be at least four to come your way, if not more by the end of the month, and as per the note enclosed with the coats sent from here.

Ooooh - thats you! ;D Thank you (I have already started handing your cards out)
Could we have mostly medium ish sizes as we tend to get staffies, their crosses and terrier types. Don't know the sizes in inches yet but will measure the lovely coats that arrived today against a couple of dogs!
Thank you all once again x

Janey, at the end of the month you will be able to pick out the coats due to the rescue from those listed in the Flash & Grab sale. Only a few days to go, and if the members help by spreading the word, we may even sell a few more, so that you are entitled to claim more.

Poodles in Need Rescue has sent their thanks to Jackysian for the collar and lead that she kindly donated to them. They are struggling to cope with the number of dogs needing new homes at present. I have also received an email from Angela at Tailends thanking the group for a parcel of mixed recycled and soiled/seconds - mostly coats - that I sent there this week. It's been a very harsh winter where they are, and Angela is most grateful for the help to keep the oldies in her care warm and dry.

I received the following email from Angela at Tailends today...
'Hi Al, Thank you so much for the parcel of collars and coats which arrived today. They are all beautiful as usual and I am so delighted to have such lovely things to put these oldies in. It is so very uplifting to see them blossom and grow in confidence as they experience the care they have never known. Todd and Evie are so different to the dogs which arrived here last month. Luv Angela'
