It was a collective effort by people popping in and out here, Ali. Being Summer Solstice this week, quite a few of the various TRPD group members are on their annual holidays. Some are taking the opportunity to pop in here to leave or collect things. I'd forgotten to take that into account when deciding on a time the work on the floor could be done.

Aunty Gary is upset... in fact, he is very miffed over being missed out of the last Cluedo Game, therefore some of the others have asked if you'd like another one but set in the place where Gary works?

Okay, I'll phone Gary and see what he comes up with. ;D However, he says murder is too brutal, so the 'crime' he has in mind for solving will be the 'theft of a gateaux'! pmsl

Okay, here you go, then, another crime to solve and I'll send a card to each of the above members. The prize will be: 2 Webbing Greyhound Collars for the rescue chosen by the winner. The SuspectsMike Kes Sago Mutley Rosebud Linny Micky The Shaman Ari Talks to Shadows Snakeman Sleeps With Dogs Where the ‘loot’ ended up.A Fridge A Freezer On a caterer’s stall In someone’s kitchen On a table Under a bed In a shed At a wedding feast In a barn In a competition As a prize At an old people’s home. Inside a dog How the ‘loot’ was transported.By car By horse trailer On a trolley In a wheelbarrow Carried off by a dog In a horse drawn cart In a supermarket trolley By pram On a toy tractor In a hearse In a police car In a taxi Cluedo-Solstice It was a damp and drizzly morn When campers, who had watched the dawn, Were jerked awake by piercing cries That assaulted ears and widened eyes.
“Oh, God! It’s gone! Who’s pinched my cake? It took me hours and hours to make!” Screeched Aunty Gary, feeling sick. “Is someone playing a wicked trick?”
“What’s up?” asked Sago, half asleep, Whose Mutley dog is such a creep, And fond of Aunty Gary’s tucker (For starving dogs the dame’s sucker.)
“My gateaux, it has disappeared! Some evil beast its head has reared! Alas, I must consult the chief For in our midst we have a thief!”[/b]

Ooooh the plot thickens. More suspects to wade through too. It was Rosebud (would a thief by any other name be so swift!) She carted it off in the wheel barrow and hid it in the shed until later

PMSL - Alas, none correct, Raiye. (And Rosbud's a big, hairy MALE biker! - at least, he used to be, but getting slimmer now with two collies to walk the weight off him. ) “By chief, do you mean cop or shaman? Last night the latter was no laymen, And surely, as chief suspects go, The latter is the best, you know?”
“It’s true, he is a dreadful glutton, Preferring cake to broth of mutton. But would he stoop as low as this, Or think the loss we’d never miss?”

Do we get 3 guess' like last time Al Mike on a toy tractor and its now under a bed I think we can allow an extra guess or two per player this time, as there are more suspects etc. However this time you have... 0 correct, Ali, sorry. Then Mike arrived, and seeking coffee, He was not fond of cake or toffee. “A toffee gateaux? How disgusting! With or without a sugar dusting.”
Beside him, at the scent of food, Kes showed that she was in the mood And would be inclined to beg Some bacon and, perhaps, an egg?
Mutley too, would like a bit But, with Kes around, preferred to sit And show that he was deferential To Kes’s teeth and their potential.

This has gone very quiet. Have a few nore clues...
Then the shaman came for tea “Pinched your gateaux? ‘Twas not me! ‘Though I confess to feed temptation I promise you, I’m on vacation.”
Gary’s teacloth flapped frustration, “I’d not trust you in hibernation! I swear you’d return from the grave To scoff a cake, you’re such a knave!”
“Could Snakeman, with his skinny frame, Be the culprit and to blame?” “Did someone mention me by name?” Said Snakeman, joining in the game.

Sorry, Nikki - 0 correct.
Once more the details of the crime Were told, and ate up further time That might create another masterpiece To satisfy the Vice Cop’s niece.
“Good lord! Was it for Ari’s feast? This really could unleash a beast! I’d not wish to be in Gary’s shoes For such a crime she’ll not excuse!”
Said Rosebud, Lin and Mick at heel, “But who would really dare to steal A toffee gateaux, two feet wide, Intended for a yearling bride?”

Mutley, carried off by the dog and ended up inside the dog That what happens around here anyway Er... Mutley is Sago's dog, Viv! Sorry, but 0 correct. “Her brothers?” said the grizzled Mike, “Perhaps they took it on a bike?” “More likely in a wheelbarrow, A bicycle saddle’s far too narrow.”
“Sleeps With Dogs has a horse drawn cart,” Said Snakeman, picking up a tart, And savouring its every crumb As Gary, stunned, was stricken dumb.
