Well, Elaine, it is NOT one of the modern sort with computerised bits! Just forwards, backwards, brake in the right place not the fingers and refilling bobbins!

I might have been able to master that...though not necessarily

Well, someone will have to soon, as I saw our caravan for the first time today. It is going to need a good clean inside and out; new matresses, as those appear to be missing; curtains; various safety checks; a new chemical toilet - and that's just for starters. It does seem to be dry and sound enough inside, though. It is about 12' and 2/3 berth, although for comfort, I'd say just two would be best. (Or even one and their dog/s. ;D ) We'll have a much better idea once it is delivered in a few days time, and the maintenance crew can take a good look.

Al, I just wanted to say a huge Thank You for all you hard work, and also for the items donated to the Deno & Posh Sales. All items are now listed for Sale in the forum. Also, many thanks to everyone who sponsored Al on behalf of Deno & Posh, it is great to have so much support

Yes, many thanks, Jutta, Most generous of you, too, and greatly appreciated. James has been busy painting the outside of the workshop yesterday, but rain today may slow up progress on that. Dave is questioning generator suppliers, trying to ensure we get the right one for ou needs, and with sufficient output to run two industrial machines and lighting at the same time. Dai is hoping to delier the caravan shortly, and also we need to get a machine in to level the site for that - but the rain may now delay that a bit. Sue's been very busy organising in the workshop, although quite where we will be able to put the rest of the things that have yet to be moved there is another matter. I've been busy cutting and sewing orders, and really need more time in the days to get further things packed, photographed and listed in the mini-auctions. Trying also to do a little bit each day towards keeping on top of the weeds in the bird garden. That just in the borders that have been created to date, and before they are once more lost under a sea of docks and buttercups! Yesterday, in my role as one of the 'Grubby Fingered Gardeners' Group', I managed to gather seed from the infamous aquilegias, which is now drying in the workshop and will be available soon for members who wish to purchase some. I think it will be next year before we have many plants for sale and can start holding plant exchange events there, although there could be a few made available for group members who visit in the autumn. We have an idea for a 'work party' day perhaps in August or September, and are always open to showing members the local dog walks, if they wish to visit and can give me a day/time that suits them.

Thanks for all the updates, it's great to hear how well it's all coming along.
Sorry for the delay in sending sponsorship but it should be with you now.
