Oh, well I would have loved the spaniel if its a Springer, serves me right for not checking back quicky enough. What type of spaniel is it just to be nosey. I don't mind what I do, not too complicated though You will see when you receive the chart that, at the moment, no charts are having pictures of dogs on, it's just lettering. I will try and post up the mock-up of the "Labrador" one when I get a minute today and then you can all see. Since that was my first, it was very basic and I'm being a bit more adventurous in the recent ones ;D So, to answer your question, the wording on the chart just says "Spaniel" in order to avoid having to do separate ones for all the different types of spaniel Perhaps if you stitched a different one now, you could bid for the finished Spaniel design when it comes up for auction Then at least, someone else will have done all the hard work and you'd get a lovely finished and framed version! Jane x

I'm sure that it's wonderful, Alison. I'm looking forward to receiving it. I'll get it sorted in a frame and photograph it over the next couple of weeks. Jane x Hi Alison Just to let you know that I received your work this week - well done, you! It's really good. I'm going to wash the aida and press it over the weekend and then I will have a play with the framing. I'll let you know when it's framed and I'll post a picture here for everyone to admire Jane x

If she can't do it, would you like this one so you can get stitchin straight away? Jane x

Oh I'm glad it arrived at last Jayne. So sorry about the muddy footprint. (I should tell everyone this was not cross stitched or part of the design, but an unwanted extra courtesy of on eof my muddy foster dogs) I didn't know whether to wash the thing or not as I didn't know if colours would run or it would shrink etc.

Jane x Ah now I'm spoilt for choice because Alison is sending me the chart for the whippet on black aida. But if Sue isn't able to do the greyhound I'll happily do that too if that's ok with you Jane. Karen

Jane, I've opened a thread here for pics of designs being created or that have been created. Are you able to post pics of your charts there using your original programme? I've solved the hiccup with being able to save the Easy X ones as .bmp pics, so you can probably also do it with that programme. That way the test stitchers can get an idea of what the charts are like in advance. Al

I think it is 14 ct, Jane, and I have just half a metre of it, so what sized piece should I cut to send? (Will need the address.)
The black, I think, is 18 ct though. My eyesight isn't really good enough to be sure and can't find my magnifying glass!
