Well, that's one for the Wildcats at any rate, but what about you, too, Viv? I know you have exams coming up, but there are to be a series of challenges for each team, and I am sure the first won't need all the team members participating... We don't aim to 'fire' anyone for our version. Instead, the winning team will be able to choose a member of the losing team to work for them in the following challenge. That should make it more interesting, and the following challenge will give that team a chance to win back their lost team mate. ;D (Unless, of course, they'd prefer one of the opposing team's members?)

Are you planning to be at the Royal Welsh?

So we now have 3 Wolves and 4 Wildcats. I suggest that each team tries to actively recruit some extra team mates and once each team has 6 competitors, I'll announce the details for the first challenge. Team members can then elect a project leader for that challenge and use the team dens to plan their strategies. Teams will be able to seek help from their fellow board members, supporters, family and friends - and for this first challenge, they may need that, but it should be enjoyable and fun for all involved, besides having a long term, effective purpose that will help rescues, the group and many others. It will also bring opportunities for a range of skills to be utilised, too. I've run the idea past a few people in other TRPD groups, and they like the idea a lot, especially as it really does call for teamwork and will give lots of team members and their supporters a chance to get involved for posterity. ;D Bet you can't guess what it is? 1 point to the team who can, if they can, and to get you all started!

Alas, Dorian, I think they threw away the mould when they made him - but I feel sure you could be an honorary wolf and play for them if you fancy it? I am just itching for enough team members to come forward to play, so that I can post details of that first challenge. ;D I am happy to go with four members of each team, if they want, and they can always recruit extras later. ;D

Yes, please, Dorian! Since good old Viv nominated me when I had no idea about this challenge at all (was on holiday and didn't spot this when I got back a couple of days ago) I'm not sure there are a lot more wolves active anymore

Right, then... After Dray attempted to wriggle out of this challenge, I've turned him into a temporary Wolf Team member for the purposes of this first challenge. ;D Each team now has 4 competitors, but they may still add up to another 3 members each and as many helpers and supporters that they need or are able to coerce to assist.
First Project/Task/Challenge...
Each team will design and create an e-booklet of recipes pertaining to something specific - e.g. 'Summer Puddings'; 'Dog Biscuits & Treats' etc. (Choice to be theirs.)
Once ready for publication, copies are to be made available for members to purchase via the forum, and with a value of £2 per booklet, which will be applied to the PCP 'Postage Fund for Rescues'.
Whichever team can achieve the most sales by MIDNIGHT on Sunday, 14th June, 2009, will be declared the winners. They will recieve points in proportion to their sales PLUS, may choose one of the losing teams members to play for their team in the second project of this challenge.
Good luck, teams. ;D
(Please post in this thread what theme your recipes will take as soon as your teams have decided.)
