Hi my name's Debbie i live in Winsford with my better half Chris, 2 children. Hayden 4 and Jules 2, we also have a lovely labrador called Zeus and a rabbit called Wolverine. Yes as you may have already guesses my little boy named the rabbit.
I'm also part of the development team for animal lifeline uk. I've also just passed my homecheck so hoping to start fostering in the next few weeks. The sooner the better really my labrador Zeus is only 1 and is craving for a buddy to play with. But since he loves every dog he meets, even the ones that don't like him. I thought the best thing would to work with that and start fostering.
Anyway enough of me rabbiting i'm going to have a good nosey round. ;D

Welcome, Debbie. Hope you enjoy being a member here, and feel free to tell others about your animal related work and fostering, as well as all about your pets. I know what you mean about allowing kids to name pets. My son's childhood pet hamster was Scooby-Doo. I used to nickname that Scooty-Poo - especially when it escaped! They are remarkably speedy little critters when on escape missions. Easily trackable by their trails of destruction... in his case, that was usually through the draw of clean school uniform items. (To this day, I am sure it had help to access that draw!)

Thank you for a warm welcome. I totally understand what you mean with hamsters i had a few while i was growing up. When they managed to escape i would usually find them under my bed eating my home work lol.

Hi and welcome.
I love the name for the rabbit!!! Then again most my animals have slightly odd names (a JRT called Sumo for example!!) .
Hope you enjoy yourself here and good luck with the fostering.
Jacky
