Hi there. I have bounced across from Greyhound Gap looking for a coat and ended up staying ;D We had a greyhound from Gap who left to the bridge nearly a year ago. We miss him very much - His name is Zac and he was a nutty, beautiful , happy boy. We also have 4 deerhounds who will introduce themselves! ;D Tiggy, the eldest 9yrs old in 8 days time! Nia, mother of Posy she is now 4yrs. Natasha ( Tash ) sister of Nia last but not least.. Posy 5months old ( and very naughty....!!!) So Hellooooooooo from us all , I hope we can help a bit. I do try and help Gap raise money and awareness. I also am involved with some shows if a stand is ever needed or anything else to help just say ;D

What gorgeous doggies I love deerhounds, the receptionist at my vets has two Zac was very handsome, what a darling, precious boy. You obviously filled his last years with love and happiness. I spent most of my childhood in Bucks - around the High Wycombe area.

Aww @ Posy! We love deerhounds too, we go lure coursing with some once a month and they are the funniest dogs ever. If they feel like running they will, if they don't then they run back to their owners half way round the course or just stop and have a game with each other! And they look so beautiful when they actually do run too!

Know you from GG I did the same as you and am now hoping to meet up with some members of this forum when they hold their next dog walk.

Oh wow I adore Deerhounds and of course Lurchers, Greyhounds etc, etc , just have to say that Posy is a real sweetie and I am going to have to send you a pm to see what you think of my rescue lurcher, I would really appreciate your opinion on his possible breeding, all I know is that his Dam was a Bedlington cross Whippet but he is growing quite tall now and filling out too, so what his lurcher sire was I don't know, maybe you could give me some clue . Love and Light Viv and the Dog's. x

This is Yaygo at 5 month's, if you go to the topic 'Lets See Your Dog's' you will see some more photo's of him, he is so much larger now and his coat has got longer and thicker, he has also filled out more, maybe some newer photo's would help . Sorry to bother you but I am so curious as to what his Sire could have had in him. Attachments:
