Someone on another forum posted a link to a photo he had taken of a robin in Sherwood Forest, so I thought I'd share it. I thought it was a stunning picture. Link: RobinPlease, if you wish to post photos here not taken by yourselves, just post the link, so that copyright is not breached, thanks.

This link shows some lovely photographs of Lundy Island and its wildlife. I rather like the look of the ponies. Link: Photos of Lundy Island

I can hardly wait to see what you'll all think of Uff's photos when she has a chance to post those. That lucky lady has red squirrels visiting her garden, and some wonderful birdlife. Despite the great age she claims to be, Uff is a wizard with her camera. Of course, having one's own hide in the garden must help.

Here's the first one OD. It had just finished burying nuts in the lawn. It was taken on 3rd Feb. The red squirrels that we have coming into the garden are adorable. If anyone is interested I'll post some info and more pics. Attachments:

I'm sure that everyone here will be fascinated to see and hear more about your wildlife, Uff. Although we only have greys in this area, I'm hoping to encourage those a bit more down the bird garden, if only so that I've a better chance of getting some photos. Last autumn they were bouncing around on the roof of the new workshop, and I caught sight of one munching a hazel nut as it sat on the perspex above where I was standing when Peter was busy painting the walls, but the photo I took must have just missed it, because I'm darned if I can spot the squirrel in this picture below... (Unless that is it to the right and on top of the leaves?) Attachments:

That sounds super, Uff. Something to look forward to seeing.
I have to be down at the site much of next Wednesday morning, as our trees are arriving then, so will try and remember the camera, just in case...

I've already seen Uff's lovely, dark squirrel on another forum and it is a stunning photo. I know she is very busy, so fingers crossed she can get here tomorrow.

Hello all. Sorry not have posted yet. To say I have been busy is an understatement.
I took some nice pics today of a sparrow hawk just sitting there preening itself in the sunshine. So, I'll post a couple of those, hopefully tomorrow.
