We were discussing rhubarb somewhere and I said I would look out my photo of Rupert with the enormous rhubarb we inherited when we bought our cottage. Rupert stood about 12" at the shoulder...

TBH I don't anyone had touched it for years...we've been harvesting about 2/3 for the last few years and it doesn't get QUITE as big now. But I would love to know the variety, it's a pink one and stays pink when it's cooked... Makes lovely jam tooo {I have a wonderful system, I let my neighbour help herself and give her a few jam jars and they come back full of jam }
