A strange question possible, but I grow potatoes and plants in old tyres in the little bit of garden that is *mine* in our block of flats. However, the stinky management committee made up of a few grumpy residents have complained that I am *storing tyres* in my garden...hmmm storing them for what one might ask...but...I was wondering if people had any suggestions as to how I might camouflage them. I don't think they look ugly or an eyesore, but I am not prepared to waste my time and energy entering a debate or discussion with them.
So any ideas would be welcome, and I'll try and show you what I do.
Thanks

I know someone who camouflaged old tyre planters by using some tubes made of old matting that they laced together with baling string at the rear. They used that woven rattan (?) or pehaps it was reed matting, so it looked quite natural, and even quite attractive with their plants growing down. The other way might be to paint them? We have piles of old tyres now stuck outside the gates at LT. I was thinking of filling them with the stone rubble and painting the road sign for a bend on them! So fed up with people missing the bend and hitting the trees, fence or gate!

A lot of people just paint them white, you could do them any colour and paint daisys or sunflowers on them.
