How do you fit it? Does the loop with the ring through which the lead part goes, go on the nose or over the head? I tried it on one of my dogs with the bit that tightens/lead come from over his nose (A bit like a halti) and he swiped it off in less than 2 seconds. But if I put that bit over his head I worry about it tightening around the top of his throat. Does anyone have photos of one fitted properly please?

Evie, the loop/strap with the ring on is the 'collar' part, and that goes around the dog's neck. It is important to use the headcollar in conjunction with a collar or harness and lead. The headcollar is intended to guide your dog's head, and needs to be used with care. Where the head points, the dog follows. It should never be used as the only means to control the dog, but simply as a gentle and effective training aid. It should not be used to the extent it causes stress on the dog's neck muscles or vertebrae. Gentle tweaks, and when used from the SIDE of the dog, should be all that is required, and one should never use a headcollar of any type on a dog in conjunction with a longline or extending lead. Hope this helps?

Yes, great help, thanks. ;D I've been off sick for a few days, just back to the kennels today. Of course the two prime candidates for trying out the figure 8 on have gone to new homes. But I'm sure it won't be long till we have a few more pullers to try this out on.
