I think I had a senior moment, Jutta, and misread the length! I'm trying to find a roll that width with 20 METRES on it. (I was thinking feet!) Bear with me, please, as I need to make sure I've enough before quoting a price.

Probably, but not for a little while because they are so bulky and take up a lot of room. We are still desperate to clear things and make space here for work to be finished off.

Over the weekend I'm hoping to have a big sort out and list what we have in the next auction to clear them out. There are also a load cut out that I need to get sewn, but with the extra work involved looking after my very sick old horse and walking her out a couple of times each day, I'm struggling to find the time to do all I need and want to do at the moment. Will do my best.

Is there any possibility of martingale collars, for my 9, plain, but with their names and my mobile number embroidered on them?
Tess has arrived with a martingale so I need a new collar with name and number on. We find that the tags/discs tend to get lost when they are racing through the heather and the embroidered ones mean they can wear them when we are away on holiday.
Thanks
Carolyn

Carolyn, please have a look at this website... www.wovenlabelsuk.com/website/catalog/category.asp?cid=22 That is a company that do printed, woven labels, and the one we used to get the Going for the Dogs Project labels done, but they have a minimum order requirement. (36 in the narrow ones and 20 for the wider ones.) If you visit there, you could have a play around and design exactly what you wanted. I could certainly make the martingale collars and even stitch labels on for you if they were sent on to me, but I don't have access to a machine at present that will embroider onto the webbing, sorry. Al x

Thanks Al, will have a think and see if this is viable. The only thing is name of dog will not be on - not always a disadvantage. Could always put surname and if found plus mobile number. How much would you charge me to sew them in?

What about stitching in plain white tapes and putting the details on with a laundry marker.
Not quite as posh but still as effective

Carolyn, if I am making up the collars, it only takes a minute to stitch around a label at the same time, so don't worry about the cost of that.

Right Al, you are on. I'll arrange for the tapes and then measure up the mutts and get the new collars. Thanks for your help.
