Hello Vera,
I am wondering if you can advise on a problem that I am having with Loki. Until recently he used to suffer from bad travel sickness (excess drooling, sickness involuntary bowel movements, eww). I have been working on this and thought I was doing well until today, we have had a setback and I'm worried about the damage that it has caused
I thought we were doing so well with the car I desided to take Loki to my friends house about 10 minutes drive away. When we first went out Loki was fine put two paws up when I opened the boot and although he wouldnt jump in he didnt seem stressed. So I carried him in and off we went. He was great, jumped up on the back of the seats a couple of times, but settled down and even lay down just as we arrived. I let him out to play for a while but he was getting a bit boistrious and was knocking the kids over so I put him back in the car again and kept an eye on him from indoors. Again he was great and settled down quickly, and lay down for a sleep. I thought we had cracked it, was so pleased.
Then on the way home, just as we were coming into the street, Loki started jumping and got tangled in his lead, he got really stressed, struggled and bit his own leg, soiled himself and was drooling with fear again crying.gif
How do I go about getting back in the car without stressing him again? I am worried this setback will have reinforced his initial fear and its going to be real hard to convince him the car is a good thing
