The wood I walk my dog in has Roe deer and they are so used to people and dogs they dont usually run unless chased, my puppy chased one one day but came back to the whistle she just went round in a big circle. She has been in season for 3 weeks so I have been using this time to get her to sit and watch them when they are about as she has been on the lead anyhow , I have a feeling she will still chase them for a while yet when she is off any tips please on what I should do next. This is my first Rotti and I just want to get it right.

Which one? I have moved the one in the pinned thread to down here... as the pinned thread is not really meant to have any posts in it! ;D

Every time she sees a deer whilst she is on the lead, call her back and feed her treats. Eventually she will come back to you to get a treat when she sees a dear. Vera
