Well I'm absolutely bowled over that Megan (and my mother-in-law, aged 88) have won Best in Show Megan is 11 years old, competely deaf and suffering from the dreaded syringomyelia - as you can see, none of that has affected her appetite! My MiL is still recovering from a nasty accident when she was knocked over in the middle of a zebra crossing (through no fault of her own) and suffered pelvic fractures and a broken neck bone. She is one VERY determined lady to have survived at all and she is chuffed to bits with our success. Thank you so much for choosing my photo out of so many fantastic entries - everyone a winner really. I've only just discovered this Forum (thanks to Nicki) so it's a real thrill to have done so well, and I intend to join in more now I've found you . I'd like my 1st prize to go to a rescue please, and will PM you the details. Would love to have the crocheted blanket though as they are so beautiful, so will PM my address too. Many thanks once again. Well done to all prizewinners and a special thank you to the organisers for being so speedy with your results and for letting us know why the photos were chosen - that's a rare treat!

Aww hugs to them both. Megan is lovely, and we loved the photo partly because of the way it looks as though they are having a conversation over their toast, and Megan has such a sweet expression! PM me with your address so I can post out the blanket, and PM Al (Old Dragon) with the address of where you want your prize sent to, please. Ann-Marie x
