One of my doggies is a little reactive and I find myself explaining this to people as we walk past them and their pooch with a yanking grumbly pickle brain ;o)
'Hes learning!' 'You should have seen him last time' 'Sorry - please call your dog away' And anything else I can think to say in a chirpy way!
I keep thinking how fab it would be to have a thin cotton top (he doesnt feel the cold) with a huge red 'L' on it!
I think people would get the idea pretty quickly and see humour rather than get grumpy (as people can do in these situations!)
Has anyone ever seen on or can anyone make on?

I've never seen anything like you describe, but have you considered looking in an art shop for fabric paint and creating your own large 'L', perhaps on a white handkie that the dog could wear like a bandana?
I could make a coat, and you could then perhaps stencil on the letter or message, but think a bandana might be a better option.

How big is your dog? I could get a dog t-shirt up to big springer size/border collie / smallish retriever size and either have it printed on there or just pass it on to you plain. In my experience, however, the people that let their dog run to a dog on a lead won't look at something like a warning-t-shirt either.....
