We take in and rehome all over the UK so we are always grateful for home checkers, unwanted tack and food. In our case big bales or hard feed but also dog food which we share with Lizzies barn.(hello sniffer I only just saw you on here) We seem to get a lot of horses to and from the midlands so a checker there would be very useful. We have dogs here but they are usually scruff hounds or Grrhounds so any coats or lurcher collars will always gets used.

We got flooded out at the same time as Lizzies barn although the animals were affected more there we have to get a digger in to move the water and mud slide from off the mountain thats in the barns and yard. We helped get Fionna up and running again but now we have to do something about ours. The cows are out at the moment because they cannot go indoors untill its dug out which makes more mess in the fields. We are also feeding our winter bales now to counteract the weather. If anyone would be kind enough to donate anything like food or send a £1 via paypal,it really will make a big difference to our animals. ladyl.cooper@btinternet.com paypal address

Have you tried putting a listing on Ebay & asking local farmers/animal people to 'donate a bale'. I can't do much from Yorkshire but I know our farmers will always spare a bale if asked.

we have stuff to sell on there but Im not sure if a bale grab would work because of the distance. If people wanted to donate a bale I suppose they could do it by paypal and we could get a bale. Anything helps to be honest. Anyone that can help us get noticed would be brilliant too.We try and stay out of the way but on this occasion we could do with some help. ;D
