Eve, Steve & the team would like to thank TRPD for the collars & leads. I sorted out the rescue store today adding 2 new collars & 1 new INAH lead won in recent quizzes. We have thrown out the tatty frayed stuff which was all they used to have before benefiting from this forum

Don't forget that we can recycle many lead fittings for them by putting new web on those, Liz. (I've just done 20 leads for Wendy/Goingtothedogs that Zac had chewed, and think some of those are now destined for GRWE and for use transporting poundies.)

What a good idea, I hadn't thought of that & will remember in future.
I don't think we've lost out this time as I only threw the very worst stuff away & if in doubt kept things.

We have had a recycling project going since before the forum started, Liz. Collar, lead and harness fittings, or even web can all be utilised to turn into items for rescues. I was once given a stack of webbing belts at a car boot sale that became collars.
Spare fabric can often be used, too.
