I have been advised that 4 GSD's are held in West Yorkshire are due to be PTS tomorrow. Can any RESCUE CENTRE please help. The dogs are aged between 3-8 yrs old as far as I know. Long Coat Blk/Tan -Male Short coat male Long Coat White Bitch, who was collected from house with Blk/Tan dog. These have been brought to my attention by lady called Christine- on 01553 828845 (the number isn't local but he dogs are) She has called a lot of places already but isn't having much luck. I only wish they had been the dogs belonging to my friends missing since last year. Any one can help please call her direct. Thankyou

Have you or your friend tried BigGSD on the board here? He may be able to help or have contacts in the area who could. I do hope someone can.

I only by chance found out about these as two of the dogs are long coated- 1 blk/tan & 1 white. My friends dogs have been missing since May06, lucky that Christine looks through doglost & remembered them & searched until she found number. The owner ten rang me as although they are not hers dogs she hates the thought that they will be pts through no fault of there own. Christine has rund quite a few places around Yorkshire as the dogs are in the area but is either getting answer phones or unfortunately messages that the places are full to the seams. I posted onto here as I know there are many rescue representatives who look at the boards. If anyone can help I'm sure they will. The search for my friends dogs goes on. THankyou for the info Tracy

Apologies for delay. I spoke to Christine again yesterday. All but the male short coat who is the youngest have been placed. This lad is still in pound. Christine is still trying to find place. I have given her this forums details as it is difficult for me to access during day whilst at work. If anyone is able to help pease call Christine direct. She does appear to have tried just about everywhere. Bearing in mind that these are not the only dogs she's trying to save, she seems to be doing a great job.

I have been away but my last contact with with Christine the lady who was trying to find them homes was that just the one young lad to sort & she was waiting on call back for him. She knows of TRPD so will have checked the links. I have been away for a week & only just got back to computer. I know there are many dogs in the sad situation but for now these ones are safe & hopefully re-homed soon. Tracy
