It has often been said that 'laughter is the best medicine' and the act of writing a little humorous verse must surely rate as a good form of therapy? - Al.
Art of the Cat Flap
There was a dog called Arthur Scottie Who drove the neighbourhood quite potty Art's visits in the dead of night To lady friends were out of sight But the barks and yips and crashing sounds Brought owners off their Slumberdowns With puzzled brows they'd rub their chin And wonder what had caused the din? Or why their dearest, darling pooch Appeared to have been on the hooch And ALWAYS just beside the door Had left a present on the floor This pile of course was only crap Expelled as Art shot out the flap!
