To Gwyn (15.3.88 - 18.6.05.)
You were my friend, my guardian angel too, And from my cradle we both knew Our spirits walked together on the trail And side by side you never let me fail Or falter on the journey through my youthful ways And now, with me all but a man, And you long past your golden days You knew your time had come to go, To yield to nature's ebb and flow, And yet you waited one last time To greet me home with special whine To smile once more your special smile And let your tail fly free. Although your legs and body Let your spirit down at last And we both knew those days were finally past Still you looked at me with limpid eye, And said "Now is our time to say that last 'good-bye', And, until we meet again in youthful joy, There is no need for you to cry."

What a wonderful poem, may Gwyn be playing once again and running free across the bridge, I'm sure she awaits the day, when the time is right to be with you again. My deepest sympathies.

Lovely words - so sorry to hear that Gwyn has her wings. 17 is an amazing age, and a wonderful tribute to the love and care she has received.
Our thoughts and sympathies are with Gwyn's family.
