We lost our much adored pampered little Basil today, due to kidney failure. Little Basil (formerly Sam) was re homed to us through Oldies Club, after being cross-posted onto the Wiccaweys website in 'Other breeds' where I spotted him. Although we only had Basil a few months, in that time he was spoilt rotten, & had the best of everything money could buy !!! No less than he deserved. Run free little Baz, your suffering & pain is over Sprolliegirl x

So very sorry to hear about poor Basil Hopefully it is a comfort to you that his last months were spent in a wonderful home where you obviously loved and adored him. He will be free from pain now and running and playing happily with all the Angels at the Bridge. Thinking of you

I am sorry, at least Basil went with love, and knew love in his last few months. Run free Basil, no more pain.

You gave Basil all the love and happiness he could have ever wished for in his last few months with you. You did a brave and precious thing taking him on at his time in life and he would have loved you with all his heart for giving him that comfort.

Run free Basil. I have a very big soft spot for the oldies too and it is so sad when we dont have them for long but we know the last months or years were spent in love and happiness
