We are offering custom made doggie jumpers. Sale on behalf of Second Chance and minimum donation per jumper would be £5 What is needed is measurement of dogs neck width, back length and around the chest. Jumpers are made of double knit wool as its lovely and warm. We have a variety of colours of wool so please PM to discuss. Please remember jumpers will not be available instantly as the person offering to do them also works full time. Time and care is put into them Examples of jumpers modelled by Bobbie & Hope:-

aah Bobbie and Hope look lovely in their jumpers, Bobbie's looks especially smart - I think its the way he wears it so well! Hope has grown loads since I met her!! It's lovely to see her looking well after her nasty illness frightened everyone. I would like a jumper for Lily if poss please. Her neck is 12 ", length of back is 171/2" and chest is 17". Her legs are short as she is a shih tsu, so is mustn't be a saggy one if poss...I bought one before xmas and the first time she wore it it went saggy and baggy round the chest (I think it got wet) and she gets her front legs caught in it when she walks and she trips up...so its no good now. How about I include the donation in the cheque I am sending today with my payment for the bits I won on the auction? ( No rush for the jumper - whenever the kind knitter can get round to it.) Alison

Oops replied to yr PM before I saw this. Thanks for Lily's measurements. Ive listed the colours of wool we have so if you like to pick one. Or if you would like a surprise we can do that ;DAs Lily is only small might have some burgendy and navy as well that might do a small coat. No problem if you send it with the auction cheque . Amy

Any colour will be absolutely fine thankyou. We do have a penchant for bright colours in this house and stripes and all things cheerful! Nothing dark and drab for us..there is enough weather here to do all that stuff for us. We like to counteract it if poss!

Hi Ann
Do you know what rough estimate the neck size and chest size would be of the greys?

Hi Ann Do you know what rough estimate the neck size and chest size would be of the greys? I think neck size 2 x 16" neck and 28" chest and 2x16" neck and 30" chest. 2x28" long 2x 30" long I think they should fit medium and large Greyhounds. Ann

Hi Cynthia
It may be a bit tight providing jumpers by then as my mum is going away within the next month. We do have a couple of small jumpers already made up which may fit. If you could let me know the sizes we will see if they are suitable

A year later and time for a couple more of Amy's mum's fab jumpers...Lil had hers specially made to fit and I had Toby arrive who had his drastic hair cut and so needed a jumper. Amy's mum found a spare one she had already knitted and popped it in the envelope. Here they both are...and thanks again to Amy and her busily knitting mum! The jumpers are highly recommended and much needed on these chilly days! First Lily of the Valley... She was not impressed being woken up just to model her new jumper but I was too excited to wait! She has been groomed since the pics were taken and needs it more than ever now! and now Toby... Aren't they cute? ;D
