Hi everyone, we thought it would be nice for members of and visitors to the forum to see photos of some of the animals in rescue that have received TRPD goodies, either won in the weekly quiz or other challenges or just kindly donated by TRPD or the members here. I will include the rescue's details with each photo, but please note that some of these dogs will now have been rehomed and so dogs featured on this thread are not necessarily available for adoption I will update the thread as more photos arrive . Photos/details will only be included with permission from the rescue concerned

If this is the wrong place please remove; Peco and Sorda are two podencos currently in quarantine in Dover, they were rescued from Spain where they had absolutely no chance of a home and faced an untimely end. Fenjas mum kindly nominated them for a coat each. We don't have piccs yet of them in their coats, I will get them soon, but just to let you know who they are. Peco the male and Sorda the female; in Spain just after coming in to rescue, Sorda is deaf and Peco has a problem with his hip, which will need operating when he has put weight on. Peco and sorda on the ferry having a quick stretch of their legs (with my OH). I will post a picc of them with there coats when I go down to see them . Laura

If I put pics of all the HWAR dogs that have been the lucky recipients of TRPD goodies I would fill the thread! No kidding. Everyone on this site has been mightily generous over the last year, for which we are extremely grateful...so please everyone pat yourselves on the back and feel warm inside. ...we are hugely grateful and unfortunately we do not say thankyou as often as we should, mainly due to there not being very many of us and we are run off our feet.....(but enough of the excuses as it sounds bad.) So many of our dogs have found themselves warmer and more comfy thanks to blankets and coats and many a fosterer (and indeed new parents) has been the recipient of harnesses, collars and leads, made by TRPD and donated by TRPD site members. Everyone is wonderful to give up their time to play the games in order to win the prizes for the rescues....not to mention all the other donations for fund raisers such as auctions etc. Here are a couple of recent recipients of TRPD goodies: www.muchos.co.uk/members/zz1ajs/M _ B for Al.jpg[/IMG] www.muchos.co.uk/members/zz1ajs/Merlin 2 fa.jpg[/IMG] You cannot see Merlin's beautiful green collar (and lead) from TRPD unless close up, but it suited him so well. Little Bertie sporting a pawsprint coat - as he was about half the weight he should have been, it kept him warm over the xmas period when we were out in all the elements (Lily has a matching one so they looked so sweet as a matching pair!!) Bertie also had a lovely little Navarro collar in orange which was fab for him. Really attractive. Ozzie the JRT in his much needed harness, it made his walks so much more fun for him....and of course Merlin on his whacky blanket! Most of these pics you have probably seen before - sorry about that...but it saves me a bit of time as they are in my album already.
