Woo Hoo! We're doing okay, FlDave!! Loving the quiz, although it is showing me just how much I don't know about our wildlife!

You're sooo right! OH thinks I totally lost the plot now searching on the net for hours on end and in desperation looking up books etc.... It's good fun though - and I hope we'll make another rescue as happy as the one of the new "Thank you"-thread posted by Selina!

I've had the chance to preview the next quiz in this challenge and can tell you all that it is about deer. Jack and I were both remarking yesterday about how much one can learn from researching on the net and what a marvellous educational tool it is. As some talking part in this challenge are going to be away or attending events at the weekend, the challenge will carry over to next Monday and after Friday's quiz. I gather Jack has been prompted to head for the Forest of Dean this weekend after yesterday's quiz. As for me, on Saturday I've promised Scampi's previous owner's children they can take him to a local dog show, and where they have won the 'Best Child Handler' class with him for the last three years. Let's hope he can do his bit to defend his title again! On Sunday Veronica and I plan to attend a nearby car boot sale. Al

He He He - looks like our fiendish plan is working then kitty kat! Seriously, sorry to hear that you have been experiencing problems whilst searching, I have been okay at work here so far - I would ask if it was a particular site involved but you would only think I was fishing for answers! I can only imagine that a particular site has a problem that is crashing you - is it okay on the others.

Awww - That's terrible, sorry I made light of it!
Perhaps we could ask Jack if he would be kind enough to offer the two teams who are experiencing difficulties a "bye" for this round but then drop the lowest two out next time?
What does everybody else think?

I don't mind. Strange though - mine kept crashing yesterday when I was looking for information on field voles etc - it crashed at least 10 times (!) and I was just getting ready to hit OH (can't throw PC out of the window as I need it for work ) when at last I just about managed to send the email off to. And today - it hasn't crashed at all. Very weird!
