The Battle of the Bulgers Competition!
This is a fun challenge to help Trallwm Farm Animal Sanctuary with their fund-raising efforts.
Here are two rather ‘portly’ horses, the first Nicky’s Ely; the second my Merlyn:
To enter, all you have to do is:
1. Pledge and send something useful to Lesley at Trallwm Farm. It can be in the form of a donation of money; some item of tack or a grooming tool; possibly feed, supplements, bandages or something for the equine or canine first aid kit; or cleaning materials; feed bowls, buckets or even something that could be sold to help raise funds for the animals at Trallwm Farm - the choice is yours!
2. Copy and paste the questions below into a post reply and add the answers.
3. If you are the winner on the closing date of 24th March, 2007, when Nicky and I will reveal the answers as they relate to our respective ‘portly equines’, you can choose a prize from the following list.
(You will need to let me know your choice and the name and delivery address for the prize by PM.)
The Questions:
Which of the two horses pictured, Ely the piebald or Merlyn the dun, has the biggest…
a. Girth circumference?
b. Belly circumference?
c. Base of neck circumference? (I.e. where a martingale neck strap would sit/rest.)
d. Width between the front legs?
Tie breaker:
How many INCHES do you think each horse measures around its chest and where a surcingle would be positioned?
Ely……………………
Merlyn………………
