Today I was able to use the group's new walking foot sewing machine for the first time and have even given it a name! Not sure if these comments will give you a clue, but the machine is second hand, but in very good condition. (We could never have afforded a new one.) When on, the engine sounds rather like a small aircraft droning away. It is a bit of a monster to use, and I think the neighbours would complain if I use it too late at night! It has a big foot! If anyone can guess what I call this machine, then the first person to guess correctly can win an INAH webbing collar and lead set for the rescue of their choice.

You'll need to, because you haven't guessed it yet.

I remember that horse! Marion Mould nee Coakes used to ride him. He was only about 14.2hh yet jumped in open classes with her. It must have been back in the 1960s - but Stroller moved a lot faster than the WF sewing machine! Keep trying. ;D

Nobody has it yet, but the clues would be in the second bit that you mention, Carol. You are looking for two words (of 3 & 7 letters that include 3 vowels in total) that make up a rather apt and descriptive name for the machine.

Congratulations, Carol. You have won the INAH collar & lead set, but I will need to know which rescue to send it too, please. The machine's name is: Old Thumper - and believe me, it suits it!
