Julie has kindly sent me this huge ball of wool for my Dad to make pom pom cat toy's out of. This is a competition for you to guess how many pom pom's my Dad can make out of this one ball of wool. I have pictured it next to a mug and a pear to show it in its enormity Entry fee will be a prize donated to the virtual prize box for the quiz and the winner wins all the pom pom's made for a rescue of his/her choice. Please state below what you will be donating and your rescue of choice should you win and of course you're guess The closing date will be 1 March unless dad's still pom pomming

14 pom poms
I'm afraid it'll have to 3 used (for tennis) tennis balls :-)
I know the rescue to nominate, I just can't remember its name....they had the petition to rescue the cats from the olympic development site!

I'll guess 30 pom-poms and donate a can of anti-tangle spray that I bought for Scampi but one squirt and he panicked and screamed so much you'd have sworn the ghost of Gerry the gander was attacking him! ;D If successful, Stour Valley Cat Rescue, please.

Just to let you all know that dad is now in receipt of the ball of wool and has started to make lilac pom pom's, he has been instructed no other wool is to be used and that the challenge is under way. You can keep guessing until Dad has completed the challenge.

Congratulations Al you won the pom pom challenge, you're guess was spot on at 30 pom pom's made out of Julie's giant ball of wall, these will be winging there way to Stour Valley Cat Rescue in the next couple of days.
Thanks everyone for taking part and making some prizes for the VPB.
Viv I've got another huge bag of pom pom's here as well, I'll deliver them as soon as I remember and perhaps you could add those in batches to the VPB as well or wherever else they may be needed.
