I hope you're ready for this! Which dog belongs to which breed of ‘curly coated dog? (three breeds of dog appear twice) The chosen rescue of the member to first guess/know the correct breed for each photo will be sent a TRPD greyhound collar (donated by petdesigns/Jutta). Little help: There is NO curly coated retriever and all dogs are ‘European’. If you need more help, ask. Here we go: No. 1 No. 2 No. 3 No. 4 a) dog on left and b) dog on right - they really are different breeds! No. 5 No. 6 No. 7 No. 8 No. 9 No. 10

(oops - yes, Sabine - I have them correctly on the "results" sheet, but am too stupid to count...) As this is - at least I believe so - VERY difficult, this time I'll let you know which ones you guessed correctly and not just the numbers. Therefore, Ali, you guessed correctly: No. 1 - Poodle No. 8 - Lagotto Romagnolo Good start, Ali!!

1, 8 and 9 (Epagneul de Pont-Audemer) correct (isn't that just THE dog for me to go with Dicker??) (I don't think - correct me if I'm wrong - Komondor and Puli count as "curly coated", they have, to my limited knowledge, very long "rastafari hair style"-type hair) Another tip - I believe (again, correct me if I'm wrong) that all the dogs are a type of gundog (yes, the poodle is a gundog, should be classed as a gundog and Sabine's poodle used to be a working gundog - much to the hunters' dismay !)

You are absolutely right - although Abraxas white Rock me Baby, the Standard Poodle in the first picture, is not used for work. Picture of my gundog-Poodle at work follows as soon as she is identified! RfS

OK, a bit more help then...
No 1 - Poodle (France) No. 2 - France No. 3 – France No 4a) dog on left - Poodle, France No. 4 b) dog on right is from Portugal No 5 - Spain No 6 - Spain No. 7 - Germany No. 8 - Lagotto Romagnolo, Italy No. 9 - Epagneul de Pont-Audemer, France No. 10 - Ireland
(I don't know if these are all 'accepted' by the British Kennel Club - but they are by the FCI, so maybe you need to google somewhere else?)
and remember - 3 breeds are shown twice. The poodle was one of them.

The only one missing now is no. 7... (no 4b) is a Cao D´Agua Portugues - on American sites called "Portuguese Water Dog" - whether that's a 'spaniel' or not I don't know, but Alibulli has got that one anyway)
Papyrus, the Wachtelhund looks a bit like a Springer and does not have curly hair - I believe it's the same or pretty much the same as a small muensterlaender.
