Win a mystery prize for the rescue of your choice for the first person to post a set of six original pictures OF YOUR OWN in one post and depicting the following... 1) Blooming aquilegia 2) Blooming buddelia 3) Blooming bluebells 4) Blooming forget-me-nots 5) Blooming lillies 6) Blooming hyacinths At least TWO of your pictures should also include a mammal and at least one an insect. If you don't have a particular photo of your own, then you can join forces and become a team of two (or even three) with another member willing to help you to support the same rescue cause.

One down and five to go, Viv! Remember, it is the first person or team to post all six together in one post. (But the bloomin' dog might help. ;D )

Just trying to cheer everyone up with some flowers, Cynthia. ;D Spring has been so late around here that I cheated the other day and bought some flowering plants at B & Qs for my garden and to cheer myself up. The slugs just couldn't believe their luck and have already decimated the pansies. Maybe we need some more blooming lovely challenges just to get into the feel of spring in the air? ;D

Amy, they don't need to be taken this year. Some on the list won't flower anyway until later in the year.

I suppose this is still 'on'? Here's a team effort (moneypenny et moi) - but sadly not all yet, I think. I'm not sure what aquilegia is... (with 'mammal' hidden under the flowering buddlia) Is this an aquilegia? And can you spot the butterfly? Addition: blooming waterlily Additions from "new" team member nikki: bluebells and doglet lilies: ]
