They are the purple flowers over the neigbours wall How could I forget the currant bush I bought from TRPD last month CUR and ANT do we get 2 points for the same picture with 2 animals in Just in case your wondering "Cur refers to a dog, usually of mixed ancestry. In common usage, the term is often derogatory. However, Curs are also a category of hunting dog breeds developed in the United States, usually not recognized as show dogs but developed solely for their hunting ability."

UPDATED TO HERENice one, Nikki, I totally forgot that Anemones are animals as well!! Ali, Hazel can't be allowed, because it is not the actual plant that is called cat kins or lambs tailed. Ali and Viv: Antirhinnum and Polyanthus are the Latin Names for the plants you photographed. And a "Dragon" is, to my knowledge, not an animal, but a legend. Unless I'm mistaken? But you may quickly want to check out the English name of the type of Polyanthus you photographed.... I've put a list of "plants already used" (excluding "antirhinnum", "snap dragon" and "polyanthus" for now in my first post and hope I'll remember to keep updating it! Looks like at this moment in time we've got a draw

There is an animal called Dragon Jutta, I think it is a type of lizard but not sure. ;D I am impartial, I would do the same for the Wolves

You mean the Komodo Dragon, don't you? But it's "Komodo Dragon", not just dragon. But I don't mind - as I had mistakenly put up that amount of points for the wildcats anyway But from now on I'm afraid I'll have to be picky!

As far as I know Polyantha is the common name. In spring you plant primroses and polyanthas. The only latin name I know for these species is primulars.
The only other thing I can find for antirrhinum is Flamingo flower, but agian they are called antirrhinum's commonly.

Viv, Polyanthus is a Latin word, hence my comment. I didn't know that some of those new hybrids and 'breeds' are now called "Polyanthus primrose". I thought the photo was of a much simpler primula type. I'm sure somebody will come up with a photo of that at some point, you'll know what I mean then.
Antirhinnum - Family: Scrophulariaceae - Common name: Snapdragon But it doesn't matter anyway as you have the point - whether that's for "Ant" or "dragon" isn't really of much importance, is it?
It has become quite common here to call plants by their Latin names to be able to distinguish between the special breeds - and squabbling over that was exactly what I wanted to avoid as they are difficult to distinguish on a photo.
