A new photo competition to run from 21 May until 11 June 2006, 8pm sharp!
Get your cameras ready and eat lots of oily fish to get your brain in gear!!
All will be revealed tomorrow! - AND HERE IT IS:
I thought the following may be a good photo competition at this time of year, now there is so much flowering going on!
The object of this competition is to take photos of plants associated with animal names in their name, e.g. Goat Willow or Ribwort Plantain = ANT.
The spelling of both the plant name and the animal name must be correct and only the (British) English names for the plants and animals are allowed (not their Latin names).
A plant will only be awarded a point once in association with one animal. If, for example, I placed a photo of a “goat willow” first, the wolves would get a point and “goat willow” cannot be used anymore by anybody else of either team.
The photo is to be taken by a member of TRPD - please don't cheat. All photos to be genuine pictures, not photoshopped or similar, and not "lifted" off the internet.
The entry fee is a prize item per team member to be donated to the winning team’s nominated charity. International entrants may donate their entry "fee" to their local rescue or ask e.g. TRPD or me (Jutta aka petdesigns) to post something for them (which they have paid for).
All entrants may use bribery to obtain photos from other board members - but please declare your bribe here and enter it in the virtual prize box!
The winners will be the team with the most photos at 8pm on 11 June 2006.
In the unlikely event of a draw, Baine (my dog) will draw the wining team’s name out of a hat!
No, of course not - in the event of a draw, the wildcats' prizes will go to their chosen rescue and the wolves' prizes to the wolves' chosen rescue.
Hope you'll have fun!
