Thankyou, it should have read neck 3 to 4 inches from where coller fits to top of neck not 3/4. The coat I bought was greyhound style & the tapered bit goes way down his behind. I 've got a previously bought coat which I'm using until things get caught up so no problems.

Hi Again Jacky, Just wondered if a coat for Tigs had been found yet? The one I'm using is way too big, the others too short but if I dont keep him dry he runs off. I can check measurements if you want-I was going to take photo of him upright & write on it as now a bit paranoid about measurements as I measured him for the last one as well. Let me know how you are getting on when you have a minute please. Tracyb

I'm so sorry! I completely forgot. We've got nothing ready made in 27'' for sighthound. But we do have : 121s) 26" black stormcheater greyhound raincoat with a faux leopardskin lining (£17.99p) - This one has the high neck26" Greyhound style, steel grey raincoat, with sherpa fleece lining and blacktrim. £13.50p. Or in the general breed, which will be a average/medium fit 27" standard style raincoat in black with a sherpa fleece lining and black trim. £14.00p. Al is still catching up on the made to measure orders, but I can put a request in for you if those aren't suitable? You could always try the 27'' standard one and if it doesn't fit exchange it?

Hello ARe you still personal shopper for 2008? After two fleecy coats to keep a couple of wussy staffies warm on camping trips. Happy to have made to measure but the OH insists they need to be camoflage, paw print or pony skin fleece (although happy to get my own to send to you Off to try and find some on the site in the mean time. I know you will want better measure ments, but one dog is about 18" long and one 16" long ish

Thanks - will get my tape measures out ! Got to also make sure the colours match their sexes too - Tekno won't be happy in anything pink I am sure They are staffie x's and one is not very deep chested ! If not (and I have spoken to you before before xmas) is it possible to get some made up if I send you my own fleecy material & measurements? Edited to add what is 'sherpa fleece' BTW?!

The only one I can find at the moment is
32" padded chest, black, BULL BREED harness with a black, emerald green and gold metallic embroidered, decorative trim. £10.00p.
This one is made up and available, They go smaller, 32 is the largest size. Al would be able to conform the sizes though.
Al is up to her eyeballs (so to speak ) in orders at the moment but I'm sure Jackysian. our personal shopper will place an order for you.

I have PMd, but I'll post here too. I'm looking for waterproof coats for 2 of my dogs. I'd like them to be in a dark or muted colour and would be nice if they matched, but not necessary. One dog is a Boxer, his measure ments are 24" from collar to tail, 30" round deepest part of chest and 23" waist. Jake is a terrier cross and his measurements are 14" collar to tail, 20" chest and 17" waist. I'm a bit befuddled, so would be glad of help. Thanks

Hiya
Jacky is only about Mon-Fri so Ive had a quick look for you. I cant find any in the stores for Reg at the mo so I have Pmed Al to check the stock room. For Jake Ive found this coat:-
195t; 14" medium fit, red dog raincoat with sherpa fleece lining, red trim and silver reflective flashes. £9.00
Not sure if its what your looking for.

Thanks for that! The one for Jake would be OK if you haven't got anything darker. Do I take it, it's the length that's used as the size, as that's what I wasn't sure of when looking at them myself? I take it Reg would be classed as a bull breed?

Length is used for coats but chest size is also important. Coats come in three styles:- sighthound, standard and deepfit. As Reg has a deep chest the likelihood is the coat type that would fit him would be found in the bullie store not that hes actually a bull breed ;D
