Not had much chance to put this up because I have had computer problems and lost everything Last Sunday I picked up Lee, Raiye's mother, with her 2 dogs, lovely puppy breath ;D, so with 6 dogs in the car we crossed the Pennines to Wigan, famous for the pier, to Haigh Hall were we met Raiye and several others from Lurcher Link. Haigh Hall is a lovely place to meet up, they have a cafe and a courtyard, just right for lots of dogs. There was lots of singing by the dogs, Bonnie being the loudest singer, but generally they were all well behaved. It was lovely putting faces to names, and of course meeting their owners. . I was pleased to see Fiona and her family again, the way her sons interact with dogs has to be seen, they are incredible, as well as Max and Murphy and meeting their new addition, Bandy. Bandy was pleased to see Raiye again. When is the next on Raiye

Haha! Thanks Jane for the reply and the info. I've been a member of lurcher link for years! I get onto the site frequently but only for very short periods so obviously miss a lot, including their walks section! Don't actually get much opportunity to go on joint walks due to my fosters who are usually either to young, too old, too anti social, on heat or needing to be transported somewhere or other! As HWAR are not a breed rescue, the type of dog I have here varies tremendously too! Having said that, I always like to know if there is anything going on that I can get to or that I can promote or support!
