I don’t really know where the right place to ask about this is, so I’ll start here, and hope that a modly type might point me in the right direction/move this/delete if I’m wrong ;D! Basically, I’m on the committee of Deed NOT Breed, a group who are dedicated to opposing Breed Specific legislation, Amnesties and any new restrictions being placed on dogs (ie: muzzling, on-lead only etc). If you click on my signature or cut and paste the url under me avatar into a new browser you can find out more about the group and our aims, and sign out petition to downing street. However, that’s not actually why I’m posting (though it’s always good to get more support… ) What I was wondering is if anyone would be interested in helping us practically? We were discussing the possibility of dog hoodies/t-shirts, and have a pattern which could be used… we just need peeps who can sew to help us! If you’d be interested, maybe we could arrange a wholesale price that we’d pay up from for say, 20, which we could then take to events to sell and raise money for the DNB campaign? Or we could take forum orders, get all the cash together, and then send it to you guys before you make hoodies? It’d be fab if you’d like to help out, but no worries if there are loads of other projects on at the moment. Thanks for reading Ray xxx ps. I don;t come n here every day - though will try and check back often. If you have any questions that you'd like a quick answer for, please mail me on pressoffice@deednotbreed.org.uk

Have you got copies of the pattern, Ray? (One cut from newspaper with some basic insturctions would do. ) I MIGHT be able to get a few made up, but we aren't really in a position to take on wholesale orders etc., or to do printing/embroidery on anything. The original PCP group is clearing it's stock through the 'Chaos & Clutter Group' and will then review where we go from there, due to health/work issues affecting our members.

That's brilliant - I can supply fabric too, if that would help? I'll check back with the committee peeps, find the pattern, and get in touch with promises of cakes and cash

There's no shortage of fabric here, unless it has to be a particular type/colour.
