copied from SOL Help stop these two tracks! Milton Keynes At the end of 2005, the greyhound stadium at Milton Keynes closed. Now, Gaming International, the company that owned the stadium, has announced plans to include a greyhound track in its development of The Bowl entertainment complex in the city. However, there is a some possibility that the greyhound track could be excluded from the plans, if the council receives sufficient objections to it. Contact details for the Milton Keynes councillors can be found at cmis.milton-keynes.gov.uk/cmiswebpublic/Members.aspxPlease e-mail/write to them individually, informing them of the suffering and slaughter caused by the greyhound racing industry and asking them to do what they can to prevent a dog track being included in the new complex. Hull A few months ago, the greyhound stadium at The Boulevard in Hull closed down after falling into disrepair. Now a company, called DMQA Holdings, has announced plans to to plough £200,000 into the refurbishment of The Boulevard and bring back dog racing. Contact details for Hull City councillors can be found at tinyurl.com/qrhzrPlease e-mail/write to them individually, informing them of the suffering and slaughter caused by the greyhound racing industry and asking them to do what they can to prevent the Hull dog track from being reopened. Please feel free to forward/crosspost/circulate this message. Tony Peters, Greyhound Action
