We have had a good day today at the Gables Farm Easter Fayre and dog show. My brother and I took two of the dogs at St Giles to the dog show to give them a break from the kennels and to help socialise them. We took Alf and Stan, two Staffis who's been looking for a home for a few months now. They are both about 8 years old and are totally adorable Alf had a great success winning the Friendliest Dog class and he then went on to win the Best In Show championship Both Alf and Stan wore I Need a Home collars and leads and they really helped people to notice them. Gables Farm put on a great show, I hope it raised lots of money for them.

Congratulations to Alf, bless him. Let's hope their outing results in home enquireis for them and that Gables Farm do, indeed, reap the benefits oftheir show.
Hope it wasn't too cold there?

It wasn't too bad, unless you got caught in a gust of wind - then it was freezing

Congratulations Alf - hope it helps him to get a home. Have you contacted the newspapers about him to give him some publicity - especially the bit about winnning the 'friendliest dog inthe show'.
